🎃 NEW: Fall & Halloween Festivities at Lakeview!

Fall festivities are coming to Lakeview on October 30! All students will have the opportunity to participate in our traditional fall sing-along, featuring fall-themed songs that have been a part of Lakeview for years.

Students are also welcome to wear a costume to school that day! Please remember that costumes must be school-appropriate and safe for school. No hand held costume accessories, masks or face paint will be permitted.

Be on the lookout for more information from your child’s teacher about additional classroom activities planned for October 30. We look forward to celebrating this Lakeview tradition with our Lions!

📐 NEW: STEM Highlight: Little Lions, Big Ideas!

Mrs. Bodie’s kindergarteners are putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work in the STEM Lab! Students are exploring how to connect pieces, build structures, and figure out how to make their designs stand. Through hands-on exploration, they’re developing early engineering skills, practicing perseverance, and learning that sometimes the best discoveries come from trying something new. We love seeing our youngest Lions think like engineers!

🚨REMINDER: IMPORTANT- Dismissal Reminder Changes

We have seen an increase in dismissal issues due to changes that were not communicated to the teacher or office, so we want to make sure everyone knows the best way to communicate a change.

  • If you know about a change in advance, you may contact your child’s teacher through ParentSquare.

  • If plans change during the school day, please call the office directly. Our teachers are busy teaching and may not see a ParentSquare message before dismissal.

    • All dismissal changes must be communicated to the office by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the change.

  • Please do not rely on telling your child about a change. Student messages cannot be accepted as an official dismissal change.
